Executive Vice President, Business Development
Andy is responsible for growing all segments of the facilities and building services business by providing strategic direction, leadership, and the resources necessary to deliver extraordinary customer satisfaction.
With over 30 years of experience, Andy is knowledgeable about virtually every aspect of business management, sales and marketing management, operational excellence, and team development. With a proven ability as a leader and a trusted and dependable advisor, he’s known for building strong customer relationships and successfully growing profitable businesses. It’s an ability he supports with extensive expertise in areas such as recruitment and talent development, short-term and long-term strategy development, negotiating, product positioning, and complex deal structuring.
Andy spent 20 years at Carrier Corporation before joining EMCOR in 2005. Throughout his career, Andy has held various executive roles at Carrier, as well as EMCOR, and led organizations at the local, regional, and national levels. He has been responsible for large businesses’ profit and loss (P&L) accounts and has restructured organizations for productivity. Andy has led cultural transformations and personnel changes to increase customer focus and improve performance. He has also overseen successful new platform introductions, trained top relationship builders, led growth-oriented merger and acquisition activities, and opened and developed new lines of business.
Andy holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Illinois and a Master of Business Administration in finance from DePaul University’s Kellstadt Graduate School of Business. He has also participated in executive leadership development at the University of Virginia’s Darden School of Business, Babson College, and the Thayer Leader Development Group (TLDG) at West Point.
Away from the job, Andy enjoys snow skiing, golfing, fishing, and travel. He is married with four sons.
