James helps EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) maintain its financial strength and flexibility and provides strategic pricing direction so clients can have the most cost-effective services possible. He assists in creating solutions for new enterprise clients and furthering partnerships with existing clients.
James understands the balance between quality and cost, leading cross-functional teams to develop solutions that help clients drive maximum efficiencies while lowering their total cost of ownership.
In addition to overseeing the pricing and finance functions of our customer solutions team, he also supervises the pricing function for EMCOR Building Services (EBS), leveraging resources amongst the greater EBS solutions teams and building additional cross-organizational capabilities and efficiencies.
With over a decade of financial planning and analysis experience in the facilities services industry, James boasts a strong background in strategic pricing, financial modeling, project management, and client relationships.
He joined the EFS team in 2008 as a billing analyst and was promoted to various positions with increased responsibility throughout the years. As financial analyst for one of the company’s most prominent accounts, he successfully managed $10 million of facility spending for over 800 account locations nationwide.
Prior to his current role, James was Director of Pricing and Finance, where he was responsible for forecasting new business profitability, executing existing business renewals, and analyzing and interpreting financial results to help senior management effectively apply company resources to achieve maximum value for clients.
Because James’ professional career has been exclusively with EFS, he knows the company through and through and has a deep well of knowledge to draw on when making crucial decisions that are key to the company’s long-term growth and success.
James earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Lehigh University, and a Master of Business Administration degree from La Salle University. He is a frequent presenter and contributor to many facilities-focused industry associations and organizations.
