Senior Vice President, Operations
Chris provides senior leadership and operational oversight to a large portion of our site-based business. Prior to this role, he led the EMCOR Facilities Services Field Organization, which consists of approximately 700 mobile technicians who provide trades and general maintenance support to a diverse, nation-wide multi-site customer portfolio.
Much of Chris’s leadership, operations, and business knowledge comes from his 25 years of service as an Engineer Officer in the United States Army. Over the course of his career, Chris progressed from leading smaller tactical organizations of 30 soldiers up to larger complex organizations of nearly 1,000 soldiers.
During his military career, Chris served in multiple senior staff and advisory positions. As part of the Army Headquarters Staff, he performed strategic level program analysis and evaluation. He was also the Senior Engineer in Afghanistan, responsible for over $45 million in U.S. Force basing support and over $1 billion in Department of Defense supported host-nation infrastructure development projects. During deployments in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Iraq, Chris lead and managed engineer construction and combat operations in support of broader peace keeping and reconstruction efforts.
In addition to his time at the Pentagon, Chris also taught undergraduate economics at the United States Military Academy and served on the faculty of the Unites States Army’s School of Advanced Military Studies.
Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering from The United States Military Academy, a Master of Science degree in engineering management from the University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Master of Public Administration from Columbia University in New York City.
Chris cherishes time shared with his wife, two sons, and daughter. He is a passionate fan of Army and Kansas City sports and enjoys running, cycling, and outdoor recreational activities.
