Vice President, Strategic Projects & Transition
Serving as the vice president of strategic projects and transition, Sean is responsible for driving continuous improvement and seamless service delivery for new account transitions and customer ‘on-boarding.’ He leads the strategic direction of this division by deploying its people, processes, and field organization in ways that improve productivity, and exceed customer expectations.
With his team of 20+ project managers, Sean is also responsible for the design and implementation of various internal and external processes that have streamlined operations internally, and reduced costs and improved service delivery for clients and supplier partners.
Sean’s career with EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS) began in 2007, when he joined USM, a division of EFS and subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., as a director of financial planning and analysis. In 2012 he was appointed to vice president of program management and served in multiple operational leadership roles within EFS’ supplier managed services division prior to transitioning to his current role in 2016.
Prior to joining USM, Sean worked in various financial planning, analysis and operational roles for leading organizations, including: ICG Commerce, Enerwise Global Technologies, Legg Mason Wood Walker, and Sunoco. Over his career, Sean has offered innovative solutions in change management, new process development, continuous quality improvement, and process management for a wide variety of customers, and for the EFS business overall.
Sean received his Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from the University of Michigan and his Master of Business Administration degree from Villanova University. He has also completed the Executive Leadership Development program at Babson College, and the Thayer Leadership Institute Program at the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY.
The Personal Side
When Sean isn't traveling to our customer locations and to various EFS offices, Sean enjoys spending time with his Wife, Rachel, and two kids, Joely and Nate. Sean enjoys various sports including basketball and will never miss a UofM football or basketball game. Go Blue!
