Kevin Todd, CSP
Director, Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)
As the Director of Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS), Kevin is responsible for the development, communication, and implementation of all EHS programs and policies across EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS).
Kevin has a passion for using data to identify opportunities and cross-functional partnering to drive continuous improvement. He takes a cooperative approach to EHS, encouraging communication and promoting teamwork to achieve goals.
Kevin’s success has helped him translate EHS strategies into long-term, sustainable solutions for EFS. His efforts help to ensure that EFS’s more than 2,000 employees, across hundreds of client sites, are working according to some of the industry’s most stringent safety standards.
Kevin has close to two decades of experience managing and implementing EHS programs in the industry. Before joining the EMCOR team in 2014, Kevin worked for multiple leading companies in the industry, including Ingersoll Rand (Trane), and Siemens Energy (to name just a few), helping to direct safety programs for billion-dollar projects and being responsible for the wellbeing of thousands of employees.
Kevin is experienced in both strategic development and tactical execution of EHS programs. Throughout his career, he has built a long track record of measurable success, helping to lower Total Recordable Incident Rates (TRIR) and Days Away From Work (DAFW) rates, while increasing reporting of numerous leading indicators.
Kevin holds an undergraduate degree from Eastern Kentucky University. He is certified as a CSP by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) and a member of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP).
The Personal Side
Kevin enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends. His passions are golf, cooking, collecting bourbon, and cheering on the University of Kentucky Wildcats.
