Adam Schoenling, MLHR
Vice President, Human Resources
Adam provides proactive leadership and strategic direction to the human resources team of EMCOR Facilities Services. As Vice President of Human Resources, Adam is responsible for establishing and implementing human resources strategies, policies, and practices that support the EMCOR Facilities Services’ and Viox Services' business objectives and goals.
Adam spent ten years in positions of increasing responsibility in General Electric’s Aviation Division. First working in the role of project manager as part of a HR team, Adam established banking infrastructure to support medical claims payment and led integration efforts between existing healthcare vendors. When he became a site HR leader, he began guiding strategic big-picture efforts, in part by introducing new policies and processes focused on increasing workforce availability and productivity.
From there, Adam continued to hone his HR expertise, developing and leading organization-wide talent upgrade initiatives and managing organizational restructuring efforts that resulted in a 35% increase in capacity. It is results like this that make him a key part EFS’s leadership. Adam has demonstrated his leadership ability in areas that include: employee relations, compensation, workplace analytics, training and development, and federal and state employment law. Adam is also LEAN Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.
Adam received his Bachelor of Arts in psychology from Carnegie Mellon University followed by his Master of Labor and Human Resources (MLHR) from the Ohio State University. While pursuing his career in human resources, he also graduated from the GE Human Resources Leadership Program (HRLP).
The Personal Side
Adam and his wife, Kristin, have been married for 5 years and live in Cincinnati. They are the proud parents of two young daughters, Nora and Tessa. Adam has a passion for travel, cooking and eating new food and is an avid sports fan. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family and friends and playing as much golf as possible.
